Round 5 saw the Students endure their toughest weekend in 2016, enjoying just 3 wins from 8 games.

It is with a measure of sadness that the Brydens Sydney Uni Flames announce Katie Rae Ebzery will be making her next career move with one of the most successful teams in the Russian Premier Women’s Basketball League, Dynamo Moscow, signing a one season contract with the club.

Christian Kagiassis racked up 30 points in Sydney University’s 33-10 win over Eastern Suburbs in their Round 7 Shute Shield clash at Sydney University Football Ground on Saturday.

Sydney University Lions produced an excellent defensive display to defeat the University of Western Sydney 40-20 in their Round 5 NSW Tertiary Cup competition clash on Saturday.

The Sydney Uni Lions avenged their only loss of the season over the weekend by defeating the Southwest Sydney Razorbacks, to remain on top of the ladder in Pool C of the Men’s Division One Waratah League.

Sydney University consolidated their hold on the second rung of the NEAFL ladder with a 37-point win over Canberra Demons at Drummoyne Oval on Saturday.
