Running from 12pm – 1:30pm throughout both semesters, Sydney Uni Sport offers a range of sports in a social yet competitive environment that is open to athletes of all skills levels.

At Sydney Uni Sport we are celebrating culture with a NEW competition that sees region vs region go head to head in a variety of sporting events.

Drop-in Social Sport Sessions
Enjoy some downtime on Cadigal Green at the start of Semester 2 during our drop-in sessions. Many FREE casual activities will be on offer to make your lunchtime more enjoyable. No booking required—just show up and get involved!

Join us for FREE fun sport days on us! Featuring:
- Free food: Enjoy complimentary burgers and fries from the USU Food Truck.

Social Serve – Pickleball
New to pickleball? Want a no-pressure way to get involved? Our FREE Social Serve events are all about fun, friendship, and friendly competition.
⌚ When?
- 12-2pm, Friday 15th August (Week 2)
- 1-3pm, Friday 22nd August (Week 3)

All forfeits must be confirmed by 4pm the business day prior to your game by emailing [email protected].
Any forfeit within the timeframe above (minus extenuating circumstances as determined by Sydney Uni Sport) will incur a $10.00 forfeit fine to be paid online prior to the next game.
Any team that hasn’t paid their fine will not be permitted to play their next game. A competition point deduction will apply. Sydney Uni Sport reserves the right to remove teams from competitions with outstanding fines.
Teams receive two complimentary forfeits per season (if confirmed 4pm the business day prior to the game). After these complimentary forfeits are used, teams will be fined a $10.00 forfeit fee for each subsequent game to be forfeited.
If you play a friendly game with registered fill in players, a technical forfeit will be recorded and no fine or points deduction will apply.
If you’re more than 5 minutes late, no fine will apply and you will play a friendly game. A competition point deduction will apply.

What is Lunchtime Social Sport like?
Player Insurance
Sydney Uni Sport Group Accident Insurance covers the following categories of persons:
- Current University of Sydney students;
- Current University of Sydney staff;
- Current Sydney Uni Sport Annual Members;
- Current Sydney Uni Sport Social Sport Members;
- Current Sydney Uni Sport volunteers and staff; and
- All current volunteers of the University of Sydney.
If you are not one of the above and you wish to be covered by the Sydney Uni Sport insurance policies, you must either sign up to full Sydney Uni Sport Membership or Sydney Uni Sport Social Sport Membership online or using the QR Code’s provided at the facility.
If you do not purchase a membership or fit into one of the categories above you will not be able to make an insurance claim.
All substitutes/fill-ins that play 4 or more games must become a Sydney Uni Sport Social Member. If a substitute/fill-in has played 4 or more games without a membership, the team may be penalised an/or disqualified. All players will be required to show ID in the finals to confirm their Sydney Uni Sport Membership status. Any player without a membership will not be allowed to play in the finals.
Team Captains will need to submit your Sydney Uni Sport Membership number when entering teams. This will be cross referenced by the competitions manager and spot checked by court supervisor. Sign on sheets will be provided per game with names and Membership numbers, and every player will need to sign on prior to playing. Teams who fail to have every player signed on by end of half time (to allow for players running late) may be disqualified from the competition at the absolute discretion of Sydney Uni Sport.
