About the Role
Opportunities have become available for Group Fitness Instructors for both permanent and covers.
Whether you are newly certified or highly experienced we are looking to expand our Group Fitness team – one of the best in Sydney!
The following opportunities are available for an immediate start:
- Body Pump (weekend)
- RPM (weekend)
- Aqua
Cover instructors required for any of the following:
Yoga, Pilates (mat), Aqua, Les Mills Body Attack, Core, Grit, Body Balance, Sprint, RPM, Pump, and Combat.
About You
You have a passion for all things group fitness, you can run to a tight schedule, have great technique and give your all to each and every class.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and accessible group fitness classes
- Ensure the well-being and safety of members
- Maintain consistent delivery of the class format
- Maximise class attendance through high-level execution
- Ensure studios are kept neat and tidy, with all equipment packed away
To be successful in this role you will need:
- GEL Certification or Cert III (or higher) in Fitness
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- Industry recognised qualification in your field of practice
- Ability to engage with and motivate members
- Valid Working with Children Check

Women’s All Age & Men’s All Age Volunteer Soccer Coaches
Description
As a Sydney University SFC coach you will be given the opportunity to grow & develop your skills & those of your players within the overlapping environments of Australia’s Premier Sporting University & its largest sporting club. Your job as a coach at SUSFC will be to develop players using the FA National Curriculum and a mix of new initiatives to build a skilful, committed and ultimately successful team. We are seeking ambitious coaches who are looking to start their coaching journey, with an aim of helping them progress, as well as enabling an enjoyable, social and competitive platform for our players to progress to our FNSW administered competition and teams in the future.
All Coaches will require a current Working with Children certificate.

FNSW BOYS’ YOUTH 3 – HEAD COACHES REQUIRED
PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE NOW
Sydney University SFC is currently looking for head coaches and assistant coaches to expand our 2024 coaching staff in the FNSW Boys Youth League Three. As an SUSFC coach, you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills in an already ambitious & successful program. SUSFC will provide you the chance to establish yourself by providing the platform to grow and succeed within a good coaching environment.
Your job as a coach at SUSFC will be to develop players using the FFA National Curriculum and new initiatives whilst building a skilful, committed and ultimately successful team that embodies the spirit and passion of the greater University community. Furthermore, the club will also require you to focus your energies on assisting with the development of the individual players, the game changers and the ones that can make a difference.

Furthermore, the club will also require you to focus your energies on developing the individual player, the game changers and the ones that can make a difference. We are serious in our endeavours to produce our own players through this program in preparing them for our girls FNSW Youth League 1 & our boys FNSW Youth 3 teams in the future.
All Coaches will require a current Working with Children certificate. Coaching licenses are preferred but not essential as we will assist you in gaining these once on board.

Sydney University Swimming is a dynamic, not-for-profit enterprising sporting organisation that provides recreation services to the general community as well as The University of Sydney’s students and staff.
Our swim pathway provides innovative and inclusive programs for children aged 3 to Open level swimmers in a relaxed, friendly environment. We ensure our classes are small so students can experience quality instruction and attention.
We are situated at the Sydney Uni Sports and Aquatic Centre in Darlington, a short 10 min walk from Redfern Station and 5 min walk from Parramatta Rd and City Rd bus routes.

Swim Australia/ AUSTSWIM Certificate or Recognition of Prior learning of an overseas qualification is required. Flexible hours are available. You will have the opportunity to work across a broad scope of programs including community (from 3 years), schools, international watersafe and holiday intensives. Opportunity also exists for administrative and supervisory roles.
Training for the right non-experienced candidate will be considered.

Remuneration

Development Coach
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic junior development coach who can embrace our positive swim culture, providing high quality swim coaching to age group swimmers (10-16 years) at local and area level.
Sydney Uni Swimming fosters an inclusive and positive, training culture in which every swimmer feels valued and important to the squad.
Focus in on technical and skill development in all 4 strokes. You will be required to regularly monitor your swimmers to ensure attendance and positive skill development over the term.
Our coaches receive above award wages, paid training, professional development, free CPR upgrades and gym membership.

Sydney Uni Tennis is looking for both casual and part time tennis coaches, with opportunity to increase one’s responsibility as the program develops. The club has recently come under new management and is seeking to substantially expand its junior and adult membership base and there are clear career benefits for those able to play a key role in assisting this growth.
The role of on offer would require capacity to run junior group and private lessons and adult group and private lessons. When coaching you will bring passion to every lesson and show determination to teach every student to perform to the best of their capability. You should have a commitment to working with the club over the long term to create a large tournament player contingent and loyal adult community.
Essential
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Demonstrated tennis coaching skills in a group and individual setting

The SUSF Uni Social Netball Competition is looking for reliable and enthusiastic netball umpires to join our thriving competitions. We run weekly 7-a-side competitions on Tuesday evenings and Sunday lunch to evening alongside our edgy Fast5 competition on Wednesday nights.
