Catering for all levels, the programs are a perfect way to break up your day and refresh your training routine. Running during semester for between 10-12 weeks, they can easily fit into your University timetable, often just one hour per week of a night time and held on campus. Our short programs are open to everyone; students, staff, community, SUSF members & non-members are all welcome.

Kickboxing
This course will cater to beginners as well as those who have had some experience in the past. The course will cover basic skills of kickboxing and aims to improve your strength, stability and coordination in the sport.
📅 When? Semester 2 (10 week course) every Wednesday
(Weeks 3-8: 16th Aug – 20th Sep, Weeks 6-10: 4th Oct – 1st Nov).
📍 Where? The Boxing Gym, Sydney University Sports & Aquatic Centre

Pilates
Improve your flexibility, muscle strength and tone through a total mind and body workout of floor exercise with no impact. Pilates involves performing a series of slow, controlled movements that focus on developing good posture, pelvic stability and rebalancing the body through correct breathing and alignment.
📅 When? Semester 2 (12 weeks) Every Monday 7th Aug – 30th Oct
(Excluding Oct 7th due to Labour Day).
📍 Where? Group Fitness Studio, Sydney University Sports & Aquatic Centre
⏰ Time? 12pm – 1pm

Rock Climbing
Develop physical strength, coordination, balance and agility. Learn correct climbing techniques, control and power. Price includes unlimited free climbing time at the end of each climb
📅 When? Semester 2 (2 x courses – 6 weeks & 5 weeks) every Tuesday
- Course 1: 15th August – 19th September
- Course 2: 3rd October – 31st October
📍 Where? The Ledge, Arena Sports Centre

Yoga
Increase your flexibility, strength and stamina whilst you cleanse the body, relax and gain peace of mind. This course can lead to increased core strength and overall fitness.

📍 Where? Group Fitness Room, Sydney University Sports & Aquatic Centre
