Sydney University Athletics Club sprinter has withdrawn from the 100m at Rio citing poor form after battling with a hamstring injury.

Sydney University Football Club head coach Tim Davidson was awarded the David Brockhoff Medal as 2016 Coach of the Year at the annual Sydney Rugby Union Awards, held at the Glenmore Hotel, Sydney.

The Sydney University Women’s Rugby team have won the 2016 minor premiership, with a resounding 43-0 win over fourth placed Waverley on Saturday 23 July, 2016. 

Wet Weather Round saw 4 teams enjoy a weekend off football, while the NEAFL, Reds, Golds and Plats all fought for 4 points.
