Universities Under 17 side played their way into the final of the Brewer Shield with a seven-wicket win over Campbelltown-Camden in their 40 overs-a-side semi-final at Raby Oval on Sunday.

Captain of the Brydens Sydney Uni Flames and Elite Athlete Program member, Katie Ebzery, has been selected in the Jayco Australian Opals squad for the upcoming Rio test event tipping off on 15 January, 2016.

Sydney University Football Club member Greg Jeloudev has been selected in the 12-man squad to contest the second round of the 2015-16 World Rugby Sevens Series, to be played in Cape Town, South Africa, this weekend.
