Sydney University Lions have been crowned club champions for the 2015-16 National Water Polo League (NWPL). 

Quarterback Kiernan Dorney received the 2015 Offensive Player of the Year and MVP awards at the Lions and Cubs Awards lunch held at the King Street Brewhouse last Sunday.

A couple of Australia flag tattoos on the shoulders and legs, race kit on and a shuttle bus headed to the start line. A 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycle and 42.2 km run to the finish and you’ve completed an Ironman.

Two Sydney University Football Club (SUFC) players have been selected in the Australian Universities team for the World University Rugby Sevens to be held in Swansea, Great Britain, from 06 – 09 July, 2016.

SUSF Elite Athlete Program member Daniel Forgerty has earnt selection in the 2016 Australian Beach Handball Team set to compete at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.  

The professional road cycling race season officially started last weekend and member of Sydney Uni Velo Club, Sarah Roy, shares her race insight with us after competing in both world-class women’s events.

It was again successful outings for both our men’s and women’s water polo teams over the weekend. Each team had a game on Saturday and Sunday, with the club coming away with 4 wins and 0 loses.

Brydens Flames captain and starting shooting guard Katie-Rae Ebzery has been selected in the recently named Jayco Australian Opals squad.
