Sydney University Football Club member Paddy Ryan was presented with the 2015 Community Service Award at the annual Rugby Union Players Association luncheon last week.

Sydney University Football Club will be providing 14 players in the 38-man NSW Waratahs squad for the 2016 Super Rugby season.

It was an excellent weekend for the Sydney University Water Polo Club as the men’s and women’s National League teams both came away undefeated.

Sydney University Football Club member Greg Jeloudev has been selected in the 12-man squad to contest the second round of the 2015-16 World Rugby Sevens Series, to be played in Cape Town, South Africa, this weekend.

Sydney University Lions’ Keesja Gofers, Hannah Buckling, Lea Yanitsas, Bronte Halligan and Isobel Bishop have all been named in the Australian Stingers Olympic water polo squad.

Brydens Sydney Uni Flames will join forces with the Sydney Kings this Sunday December 13^th where the teams will play one after another in the last ever professional basketball game to be held at the Qantas Credit Union Arena (previously known as the Sydney Entertainment Centre and proudly known as the Kingdome by Kings supporters) as the Kings part ways with the venue.

The Flames bounced back from a tough loss to Adelaide to outlast the Capitals in Canberra 82-76 on Saturday, 5 December. 

Universities First XI went to the Christmas break with an unbeaten 12-match run in the Sydney Women’s Grade cricket competition.

Last weekend the Sydney University Athletic Club won the NSW Club Championships for the 4^th consecutive year in both the mens and women’s competition.
