Sydney University’s disappointing Belvidere Cup season might yet finish on a high after the Students accounted for Hawkesbury by nine runs in their nail-biting Round 13 clash at No.1 Oval on the weekend.

Sydney Uni Athletics Club (SUAC) athletes covered themselves in glory over the weekend competing at the Canberra and Adelaide Track Classics and the NSW Masters Championships.

The Australian women’s water polo team aka the Aussie Stingers, have won silver at the FINA World League Intercontinental Tournament. The tournament was played in Lewisville, America from February 16^th to 21^st.

A total of 8 Sydney Uni Boat Club (SUBC) athletes are well and truly in the Rio mix, having been named to compete at Rowing World Cups 2 and 3, along with the Final Olympic Qualification Regattas, all subject to performance.

Unable to make the finals and coming off a string of heart-breaking losses, Brydens Sydney Uni Flames showed their true colours in dashing the finals hopes of 5^th place Bendigo Bank Spirit, 90-83, at Brydens Stadium, Friday night.

This Saturday, following our trial against the NSW Under 20s, SUFC will be hitting the road to the country to play the Victorian Under 20s, as well as a Southern Inland Rugby side, at the picturesque Connolly Rugby Complex in Wagga Wagga.

Mark Prater of the Sydney University Boat Club (SUBC) has been appointed Olympic Underpinning coach for crews based in Canberra before they head overseas.

Sydney University Ultimate Frisbee Club member Kim Spragg will be representing the Australian women’s Ultimate Frisbee team, the Firetails, this Friday.
