Sydney University went to stumps in a strong position on day one of their two-day, Round 13 match against Gordon on Saturday.

Sydney University Athletics Club (SUAC) athletes travelled to Canberra for the ACT Championships over the weekend. It was another cracking weekend for the club with many outstanding performances and personal bests. There were also World Championship and World University Championship qualifying performances.

Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre and the Arena Sports Centre last week received an enormous boost to their respective cardio spaces with the installation of 71 pieces of new Life Fitness machinery.

The tournament, which is run by Cycling Australia, consists of three races held around Australia, and is part of the top tier circuit of global cycling events.
