An Emotional Acceptance of Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness Support
At the conclusion of the Round 21 WNBL match on Friday night, Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness and its supporters donated $7000 to the Bendigo Bank Bushfire Appeal. In the face of the growing millions of dollars donated to the Red Cross, it was a relative small sum of money, but one that touched Kristi Harrower, Opal and Captain of the Bendigo Spirit, as she accepted the gift on behalf of the Bendigo community.

More than 80 swimmers, parents and coaches attended the recent Sydney University Swimming Club’s education seminar with Paul Penna. The session was designed for the clubs high school aged swimmers and was targeted at being able to “Juggle your Education and your Swimming commitments”.

Despite soaring temperatures at the Sydney International Regatta Centre across the weekend, Sydney University rowers reigned supreme at the NSW Rowing Championships. Sydney Uni easily won the overall point score, making it the 7th consecutive year that Sydney University has been the premier rowing club in NSW.
