Current Elite Athlete Program member and University of Sydney Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) student, Chloe Dalton, has made history with the Australian women’s rugby sevens team as they claimed their first-ever Sevens World Series title after a win over Spain.

Three Sydney Uni Boat Club representatives have contributed to Australia’s medal haul at the World Rowing Cup II in Lucerne.

Sydney University Athletic Club hit a record club showing over the weekend, with 5 Men’s teams and 4 Women’s teams competing in the 2016 XC Relay Championships. 

On Wednesday the 4th of May, the ‘Blue & Gold’ Pre-Olympic Games Dinner took place, with pre-dinner drinks in the Main Quadrangle and dinner in The Great Hall.

Just 3 SUANFC sides took to the field in Round 8, with the NEAFL and Reds enjoying hard-fought wins, while the Plats suffered their sixth consecutive loss.

Sydney University’s dour 14-9 win over Parramatta at Merrylands Regional Park on Saturday night leap-frogged them over Randwick to the top of the Shute Shield ladder.

Sydney University Lions overcame a spirited University of Western Sydney to register their second win against the Ducks in consecutive rounds at Bankstown Campus Oval in Round 7 of the NSW Tertiary Cup competition clash on Saturday.

Jenny Blundell has put in a huge performance overnight at the IAAF World Challenge in Beijing, running an Olympic qualifying time of 4.04.62 in the 1500m.
