Fairfield City/Sydney University has won their first premiership for the club with a thrilling one-point victory over arch-rivals Manly-Warringah in the Division Seven Grand Final of the Dooley’s NSW State League at the Anne Clark Centre in Lidcombe on Saturday.

A dominant scrum laid the platform for Sydney University Fourth Grade’s 22-12 win over Gordon in the preliminary final of the Sydney Grade Rugby Union competition played at Pittwater Rugby Park on Sunday.

Another week and another win has moved Sydney University Reserve Grade into the grand final of the Sydney AFL Second Division.
