Sydney University Water Polo Club teams came away from the 2019 Australian Youth Water Polo Championships, held in Brisbane over the past two weeks, with two gold medals, one silver and a bronze.

Amar Hadid is often celebrated as the University of Sydney’s first ever scholarship holder for skateboarding, however this weekend, she assumed a different role — chosen by the Australia Day Commission to be the 2019 Australia Day Ambassador for the Hills Shire.

Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre and the Arena Sports Centre will receive an enormous boost to their respective cardio spaces with the installation of 71 pieces of new Life Fitness machinery in February 2019.

Ed Cowan returned to the club scene on Saturday and helped Sydney University to a five-wicket win over Bankstown in the first of the limited overs matches for the 2018-19 season.
