In their inaugural Aon Uni 7s campaign, the University of Sydney secured an impressive top-four finish in the opening round which was held at the University of Tasmania in Hobart at the weekend. 

Sydney University’s champion NPL women’s First Grade soccer side will press for the 2018 title when they take on Macarthur Rams in the grand final at Valentine Sports Park on Sunday.

Sydney University women’s rugby union number eight Grace Hamilton and  flanker Emily Chancellor have retained their run- on positions for the Second Test against the New Zealand Black Ferns, to be played at Eden Park, Auckland, on Saturday.

Recently signed Brydens Sydney Uni Flames centre, Alex Bunton, has been selected in the Chemist Warehouse Australian Opals team ahead of the 2018 FIBA World Cup.

Sydney University currently sit in a deadlock, in equal first (fourth place on for and against) position on the North East Australian Football League ladder with a round remaining.

It was a great weekend to be a part of the Sydney University Baseball Club, with both second and third grade claiming the Sydney Winter Baseball Premiership in their respective grades.
