The Sydney Uni Fencing Club women’s foil team of Anna Kovacs, Margarita Sokolovskaja and Katherine Kwa have triumphed at the State Club Teams Championships on Sunday in Marrickville, Sydney.
The girls defeated UNSW in the semi-final before taking gold against the Swords Club in the final.
Kovacs (B. Applied Science {Speech Pathology}) is an SUSF Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder, while Sokolovskaja is a former scholarship holder.
