Georgie Whitehouse isn’t an unfamiliar name around Sydney University. Recently graduated, the EAP star is a team member of Sydney Uni – Staminade Women’s Cycling Team and the  Sydney Uni Velo Club.

Throughout this week, Georgie has been competing at the Australian 2020 Track Championships in Brisbane alongside SU Velo teammate, Emily Watts. Both have been selected to represent NSW in the Elite Team Pursuit joining Josie Talbot, Chloe Heffernan and Lucie Fytus. The girls raced yesterday and won gold with an impressive time of 4.30.6 over 4km on the famous Anna Mears Velodrome.

And if that wasn’t enough, Georgie went again. Qualifying for finals in the Individual Pursuit, Georgie secured first place and her second gold medal in 3.36.01 over 3km.

The championships will conclude with a scratch race on Sunday, 20 December. Can Georgie make it 3 golds? With her performance so far, we have no doubt she will be competing for the top spot and nothing less.

Good luck Georgie!
