The City2Surf once again brought Sydney to life, with over 80,000 runners taking on the famous 14km journey from Hyde Park to Bondi Beach. Among the crowds, Sydney Uni athletes stood tall, producing outstanding results across the elite races and juniors.

Leading the charge in the Women’s Elite Race, Jenny Blundell delivered an incredible run to finish 4th overall in 47:56, just shy of a podium spot. She was backed up by strong team performances from Abby Gilbert (18th, 53:12) and Lucy Alder (25th, 54:42), showing the depth of Sydney Uni’s women’s program.

In the Men’s Elite Race, the Blue and Gold were hard to miss. James Nipperess stormed home in 41:45, claiming 4th overall and setting a new club record for the race. The men’s team packed the Top 30, with Drew Fryer (11th, 44:07), Seb Havens (14th, 44:31), and Ben Bishop (18th, 45:04) all producing standout runs. They were closely followed by Lockie Townsend (24th, 45:42), Tom Davies (25th, 45:56), Adam Schaffer (30th, 46:51), and Jayden Yiu (38th, 50:32).
