The Sydney University Boat and Rowing Clubs will have an incredible 24 representatives competing for New South Wales in the Annual Interstate Regatta to be held in conjunction with the Australian Rowing Championships at Champion Lakes, Perth, during March 5-11.
Sydney University’s greatest impact will be seen in the King’s Cup Men’s Eight – NSW has won this event for the last four years running – where six Sydney University Boat Club athletes plus cox Toby Lister will represent their state.
Sydney University Director of Rowing, Mark Prater, will coach the NSW Men’s Youth (U20) Eight and Gonzalo Briones, Women’s Development Coach, will coach the Senior Women’s Eight for the Queen’s Cup.
