AFL


The Students have now made it 4 from 4 and sit on top if the table after destroying Campbelltown 17.13.(115) – 6.10.(46).


This Saturday Syd Uni takes on Pennant Hills who are currently 2nd on the table. Kick off is at 2.10pm on Oval 1.


Sydney Uni Women’s AFL start their campaign this weekend taking on UNSW / Easts at Mahoney Park at 12pm.


Rugby


A strong first-half defensive effort from Sydney University paved the way for a resounding 38-16 win over Eastern Suburbs in their Round 5 clash at University Oval on Saturday. Sydney University then dominated the second half in a five-try shut-out to maintain their unbeaten run in 2008 and an unbeaten home-ground run since a first round loss to Gordon in 2004.

The Australian National Championships were held in Coffs Harbour last weekend. Sydney Uni Ultimate Frisbee had 15 people participate in the Opens and Womens divisions, with some outstanding results:

Soccer


Men’s Super League take on the Northern Tigers at Oval 1 this Sunday at 3pm. Last weekend the men went down 0-3 to St George FC and then went down 2-3 to Mt Pritchard on Tuesday.


Women’s Premier League take on the Macarthur Rams at Lynwood Park this Sunday at 3pm. Last weekend the game was washed out.
