Sydney University issued a successful right of challenge to win a Division Three grand final in the Sydney Men’s Badge Tennis competition at Strathfield on Saturday.
The Sydney University (13) team defeated Strathfield (4) 4.34 to 3-25. The Students had finished minor premiers and, having lost their major semi-final, were entitled to issue a right of challenge for the grand final.
Sydney University also contested the Grade 1 Division 2 men’s grand final, with the No.3 team losing to Longueville (1) 6.36 to 0.24. The No.3 team had also finished minor premiers.
