Sydney University Tennis has received the ultimate compliment after being invited by Tennis Australia to showcase their coached kids in an on-court demonstration at the upcoming Davis Cup tie at Royal Sydney against Switzerland.
The invitation is due the high quality of the Club’s execution of the Hot Shots Junior program (click here). The youngsters will be showing off their skills this Saturday between 10.45-11am.
“This is an exciting and amazing opportunity for our program, kids, coaches and parents alike,” said Sydney University Tennis coach Casey Cross.
“This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Our kids and parents will have the chance to watch Roger Federer, who at this point many consider the greatest player of all time in action at the Davis Cup.
“A big thank you goes out to our Community Tennis Officer, Matt Starr, for giving us such a fabulous opportunity to be involved in the greater game of tennis!”
