Sydney Uni Water Polo is heading into the final rounds of the regular season of the New South Wales Super League with both the men’s and women’s teams still firmly in the hunt as the race for finals positions intensifies.

The Sydney Uni Women’s team currently sits second on the ladder, placing them in a strong position as they look to cement a top two finish ahead of the final series. With only a handful of matches remaining, every game carries significant weight as the team aims to maintain momentum and secure the best possible seeding.

Meanwhile, the Sydney Uni Men’s team sits fifth, right in the middle of a tightly contested finals race. With several teams fighting for the same positions, the men will be looking to finish the season strongly and push themselves further up the ladder before the postseason begins.

Both squads will have the advantage of playing their two matches at home, giving supporters a chance to get behind the teams as the regular season reaches its climax.

With two home games to go Sydney Uni will host New Zealand on Thursday evening, before returning to the pool on Saturday for our Men’s to play Canberra and women’s to play University of Queensland.

With finals spots and momentum on the line, the upcoming matches promise high-intensity water polo as Sydney Uni’s athletes look to close out the regular season on a strong note.

Supporters are encouraged to come down and get behind the teams for what shapes as an exciting finish to the season.
