Sydney Uni Football Club celebrated an incredible four premiership victories over the weekend, capped off by a fairytale Shute Shield final.

First grade kept everyone’s heart in their mouth as they trailed 16-0 to Warringah, however a Nick Phipps cameo inspired one of the great comebacks.

The former Wallaby flicked the switch and helped University gain the momentum to score three tries in 15 minutes, leaving Warringah searching for answers.

It is first grade’s 11th title since 2001 and the second year in a row the club has won the Shute Shield grand final, minor premiership and Club Championship.

Success trickled down to second grade who enjoyed a 37-18 triumph over Eastern Suburbs, while fourth grade beat Eastwood 31-15.

However, it wasn’t meant to be for third grade who narrowly went down to Gordon 27-26.

First colts summed up a fantastic weekend with a 34-17 win over Randwick on Sunday at Coogee Oval.
