The Sydney Uni Archery Team completed an impressive showing at the Back to Archery Nationals Tournament over the weekend at Sydney Olympic Park.

In the fourth stage of six of the tournaments, the Club saw a number of place-getters and their day was highlighted by  Emma-Lucille Blayney who ranked first in the 20 & Under Female Barebow Recurves

The event was a WA 60/900 round, where archers shoot a total of 90 arrows at 60m, 50m and 40m. The rankings are based on the combined score of the archer’s best 2 rounds.

It was a very successful day, with many new archers completing their first round in a national tournament. Guiding the team was Eric Hu (Head Coach) and Kathryn Kiefhaber (National Indoor Champion) who both also participated in this event.
