Sydney University Football Club (SUFC) cross the bridge for their round 13 fixture against an inform Northern Suburbs outfit this Saturday.

“Norths have really risen to the occasion over the last couple of weeks and they will be determined to get a win at home this weekend against us,” said Head Coach Todd Louden.

Norths have won their last five games in a row, with their latest two games being very close battles with Eastern Suburbs (12-6, no tries scored in the game) and Southern Districts (22-21).

“These close wins show that Norths can grind out a win in any conditions and they will be deadly in both attack and defence this weekend,” commented Louden. “Norths will come out firing and will play with plenty of passion this weekend for their mate Seti Tafua.”

The Norths Rugby home game on Saturday 21st July against Sydney University has been renamed ‘Seti Tafua Day’, with all gate takings going to support Seti’s ongoing medical and rehabilitation costs. Gates open at 10:30am, with First Grade kicking off at 3:10pm following a short game between local junior clubs. The day will also include a raffle, BBQ, jumping castle, face painting and many more fundraising initiatives.
