With a record win over Randwick last weekend, the Sydney University begin their 2013 Shute Shield Finals Series with a tough contest against Manly at Manly Oval this Sunday.
“Manly have built some momentum over the last 6 weeks and are a vastly different side to the one we took on down there earlier in the year,” said Head Coach, Chris Malone.
“As we all know, they will be fired up beyond belief to take us on, so our players are under no illusions as to the task at hand. A big abrasive pack and some lightning speed and strength through their backs will have to be contained for us to prevail.”
“Whilst we have had some fantastic scorelines over the last month, we know we will be tested this week more than we have been for some time.”
