Sydney University Football Club (SUFC) returns to the birthplace of Australian rugby for the first time in the 2013 season, with their round 2 match up with club powerhouse and traditional rival, Eastwood.

Eastwood will be out for revenge this weekend, disappointed with letting Southern Districts beat them by just two points at home last weekend.

“Eastwood have the full arsenal of weapons and we can be sure to see them all this weekend, they are very capable of turning it on at any time,” said SUFC Head Coach, Chris Malone.

“Their forwards are big and powerful and will control possession, while their backs, given a bit of space, can be lethal across the park.”

“Last weekend’s results mean little now when preparing for a game of this magnitude,” said Malone.

“While I thought some aspects of the performance of the team were decent, there are certainly plenty of things to work on and the team will have to lift leading into such a big game this weekend against Eastwood.”
