Fraser Lyne from Manly-Warringah Volleyball Association, in conjunction with Northern Beaches Volleyball Association, is organising a beach volleyball tournament in memory of the late Sydney Uni Volleyball Club (SUVC) member Steven Gerits.
Gerits tragically passed away in Sydney on the 29th December as a result of a cardiac arrest.
The event will be a 4-a-side, mixed beach tournament to be played on Australia Day at the beautiful beach volleyball courts on Sydney’s iconic Manly Beach. All proceeds from team entry fees will be donated directly to the Heart Foundation.
MWVA would like to encourage all its members to get involved in what should be an action-packed, fun-filled day to pay tribute to the beautiful life of a great bloke who was so tragically taken from us far too soon.
