The Sydney Uni rugby juggernaut continues apace after the 35-11 victory over Eastern Suburbs at No.1 Oval on Sunday.

There is always a convivial atmosphere at Uni-Easts matches, possibly because of the interchange of many players over the years, including legends of the code.

But Easts weren’t feeling the love by full-time. They had legitimate premiership aspirations going into the clash and came away with muddied minds after conceding four tries in the bog.

Sydney Uni coach Chris Malone has an expansive game up his sleeve and backs ready to run, but what a trump card to have a forward pack capable of dominating in any conditions and able to control the tempo of a match.

Uni and Easts are in negotiation over the rescheduling of third and fourth grade, and first, second and third colts.
