Sydney University Women’s AFL side had a fantastic start to the 2015 season with a victory over UNSW, winning 89 – 24. This continued the teams enormous match winning streak across three seasons, stretching now to 35 games.
Keeping the UNSW Stingrays scoreless at quarter time, the Bombers locked down in their defensive half while still playing attacking football. By the major break Sydney Uni led by 31 points, 49 -18. Stephanie Walker and Nicola Barr were unstoppable, collecting 4 goals and 3 goals respectively.
