Sport

In 2020 we saw the sporting world respond to the COVID landscape in ways we never thought possible. No code was immune to the impact the pandemic would have on their respective competitions, including Archery. However, thanks to Archery Australia’s fast adaptation, the show could go on for our Sydney University Archery Club.

Making up for a series of competition cancellations throughout the year, the Back To Archery Tournament was born in Spring as restrictions began to ease. A total of 824 archers participated from 53 clubs across Australia.

Sydney University Archery Club was no stranger to winning over the three-month national tournament, taking home nine medal placings across six shoots in both raw score and handicap divisions.

Congratulations to all archers involved, the Students look right on target for an impressive 2021 season ahead.
