Sydney Uni Scholarshi holder and Beijing Olympian Lachlan Renshaw took to the pavement on Sunday 31st May, to participate in the 2009 Balmoral Burn.
Renshaw, competing in the Elite’ category, crossed the finish line first in a time of 1.21, ahead of close competitor Ryan Gregson who ran a 1.22.
The Balmoral Burn, organised by Humpty Dumpty Foundation, is a community event raising money for children in hospitals across NSW.
The start line is at the bottom of Awaba Street, Balmoral – with the course being a grueling 420 meters straight up Awaba Street hill.
