Sarah Perkins of the Sydney Uni Ultimate Frisbee Association has been selected in the Australian Womens team for the WFDF 2015 Asia Oceanic Ultimate Championships (AOUC), to be held 27-29 November.
At a recent training camp in Melbourne, Perkins was voted in as vice-captain by her fellow teammates.
“It is a huge honour to be leading my team into this tournament especially since I am the youngest member of the team. We have set our expectations high and would like to achieve a medal finish in this tournament,” said Harrison.
The squad will travel to Hong Kong to face top teams from the Asia Oceania region including Japan, China, Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong.
This tournament is held every four years and is open to any age.
With a high number of excellent players and a limited timeframe, the selection process was a challenging one. Congratulations Sarah.
