Sydney University athletes came away from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow with six medals, including three gold, two silver and a bronze.

Sydney University’s Matthew Mitcham added to his Commonwealth Games silver medal collection when he finished second in the 1m springboard event in Glasgow yesterday.

Three Sydney University Boat Club rowers came home with silver medals from the recent Under 23 World Championships, held at Varese, Italy.
