Sydney University’s Angela Ballard set a new world record and won four gold medals on the opening day of the IPC Athletics Grand Prix in Nottwil, Switzerland, on Sunday.

Sydney University relied on a well-drilled scrum and the boot of Byron Hodge to edge out Parramatta 28-24 in a nail-biting Round 11 Shute Shield contest at University No.1 Oval on Saturday.

The Sydney University Freestyle Wrestling team recently competed at Nationals, where Robyn Soper won the womens 63kg division and Penny Stein won the 58kgs division.

The Sydney Uni Bombers have continued their domination of the Women’s Sydney AFL Division One competition. After four rounds of competition the Bombers sit on top of the ladder with a record of 3 -1 and a percentage of 199.18.
