Despite taking their foot off the pedal in the second half, the Sydney Uni Lions have racked up their 67th consecutive victory after disposing of the Central Coast Sharks 60-27 on Saturday night.

With Sydney Uni out to a comfortable 34-0 lead at halftime in their Round 8 Gridiron NSW fixture at Pennant Hills Park, Lions Coach Ogborne ensured that plenty of his rookies received some valuable game time after the break.

Despite a patchy second half that included a number of injuries, the Lions went to record a 33 point victory and maintain their place at the top of the ladder, where they have secured eight wins from as many matches. Incredibly Sydney Uni have scored 400 points this season and only conceded 79 for an average game scoreline of 50-10.

This week the Lions take on the Sea Hawks at Pennant Hills Park on Saturday at 4pm.
