Sydney University Wrestling Club member Jayden Lawrence will this weekend attempt to gain 2012 Australian Olympic Games selection.
Lawrence, who made it through the first phase of Olympic Games qualifiers in January’s 2012 Oceania Games at the Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre (SUSAC), left for Morocca last week with Sydney University Coach Leonid Zaslavsky in preparation for the second phase of the Freestyle Wrestling 2012 Africa & Oceania Olympic qualification tournament.
Lawrence is hoping to be one of two wrestlers to make it through to the Olympic Games held in London later this year.
