Other nations competing at the Championships include Norway (defending champions), Croatia, Denmark, Italy, Hungary, Spain, China, Thailand, and two three teams yet to be confirmed from Africa and Panamerica.

The full squad for the Australian Women’s Beach Handball team is Rosa Boyd, Daniela Cook, Allira Hudson-Gofers, Alice Keighley, Taylee Lewis, Clare Murray, Kate Napier, Vanja Smiljanić, Emma van Bussel, Amelia Wallace.

Teammate Allira Hudson-Gofers is a former Sydney University women’s water polo player, who also represents Australia in the sport of handball (indoor).

Keighley, Hudson-Gofers and the rest of the team will attend two training camps in Sydney and Muscat (Oman) in June and July before the tournament begins in Oman on July 8.
