An incredible 21 Sydney University Hockey Club (SUHC) representatives have been selected in a host of Hockey NSW squads – 14 of whom are current or former Sydney University and SUSF scholarship holders.
The list below shows the current and former SUHC players selected in each Hockey NSW squad.
2012 Hockey NSW Men’s squad
- Tom Lobsey (former SUSF scholarship holder)
- Pete Kelly (SUSF scholarship holder)
- Brendan Purser
- Matthew Butturini
The team will compete at the 2012 AHL in Canberra from 16-27th October. Their coach is Aaron Oman, SUHC’s former Director of Coaching.

- Hollie Webster (SUSF scholarship holder)
- Mathilda Carmichael (SUSF scholarship holder)
- Georgina Morgan (SUSF scholarship holder)

The women will play at the 2012 AHL in Perth from 16-27th October.
2013 Hockey NSW U21 Men’s squad
- Brandon Lourens (SUSF scholarship holder)
This squad will attend a series of trial sessions in 2013. Their coach is Scott Barker, SUHC’s current Director of Coaching. The assistant coach is Aaron Goninon, a current SUHC Premier Squad member and current SUSF scholarship holder.
