Sydney Uni Swim Club members and Multi Class swimmers Sarah Hilt and Nomiki Lau claimed nine gold members and two Australian records at the 2011 Swimming NSW MC LC Annual Championships.
Hilt (S5 classification) a Sydney University Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder, claimed four gold medals – 400 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 breatstroke and 50 breaststroke – at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre last Saturday.
She also set a new Australian record in the 200 and 400 freestyle.
Lau (S15 classification), who recently return to the training pool after a 12 month break, and really impressed Sydney Uni Swim Club Head Coach Vanessa Smith, finishing with gold in the 50 fly, 100 fly, 50 backstroke, 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley.
