Former SUSF Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder and canoe slalom athlete Jessica Fox continued her strong World Cup form by winning gold at the second event in Germany.
Following a C1 silver medal at the Cardiff event, Fox went one better in Augsburg by winning gold despite touching two gates on her final run. Fox finished ahead of Mallory Franklin of Great Britain, with fellow former scholarship holder Rosalyn Lawrence finishing in sixth place.
Fox then finished 12th in the women’s K1, the event in which she won silver in London. Lawrence finished 16th.
