Sydney University rowers and Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holders Sasha Belonogoff, Ryan Edwards and Holly Lawrence will be heading to Canberra after being awarded Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) scholarships for 2013.
Australian U23 2012 World Championship bronze medallists Sasha Belonogoff (B. Applied Science {Exercise & Sport Science}) and Ryan Edwards (M. Commerce) will join fellow Sydney University Boat Club (SUBC) representative Nick Purnell at the AIS. Purnell, who was part of the 2012 Olympic eight, will return to the AIS in late December. He has been with the AIS since 2010.

Sydney University Women’s Rowing Club member Holly Lawrence (B. Science) will also be at the AIS.
