Following the NSW Government’s recent news of the 70% double dose target, we are excited to announce that the Sports & Aquatic Centre, Arena Sports Centre and Ledge Climbing Centre will officially re-open on Monday, 11 October.

Once SUSF re-opens, under the NSW Government restrictions, it will be a requirement of entry to SUSF for you to have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccination (i.e. be fully vaccinated), or have a COVID-19 vaccine medical contraindication (medical exemption) from a registered medical practitioner.

This means, when entering any SUSF facilities or premises, you will need to sign in using the NSW Health QR code as normal and display your proof of full vaccination, or medical exemption, to our staff upon request. For more information on how to access your COVID-19 vaccination record, click here.

As part of COVID-19 industry protocols, members will be required to book their visits to the gym and group fitness classes using our online booking system and can do so up to 1-day in advance. For any login help, email [email protected] with your full name and date of birth.

We strongly encourage members to read our COVIDSafe Information page, which contains general guidelines and terms of entry, frequently asked questions regarding memberships, member ID & PIN retrieval, booking arrangements, plus other quick links.

Our opening hours can be found here. Please note, due to restrictions, there are capacity limitations that we’ve considered which are reflected in the booking system. As for group fitness, a new timetable will be published online over the next week.

All pass holders will receive a 159-day extension to their pass and annual membership. This takes into consideration the shutdown period and runs through to Wednesday, 1 December, which gives everyone enough time to get fully vaccinated. Direct debits will resume from Wednesday, 27 October. If you have any membership enquiries, contact [email protected].

The T&Cs of returning to our facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic highlight the need for all attendees to mandatorily wear masks except when doing strenuous exercise, bring their own towel and water bottle. With your help, we will ensure our indoor spaces comply with government directives and that social distancing and hygiene requirements are met. Our facilities will, of course, be equipped with signage, hand sanitiser, disinfectant and gym wipes for your use. Facilities will be cash-free, with contactless card payment required.

SUSF thanks you in advance for your patience and courtesy with our staff during what is a challenging time for us all. If you wish to discuss any aspect of these requirements, feel free to contact [email protected].

We look forward to welcoming you back into our facilities!

To accommodate our 15,000 members and ensure a COVIDSafe environment for all, members are asked to book online to access the gym, pool and courts at the Sports & Aquatic Centre and Arena Sports Centre. This will enable contactless and COVIDSafe entry into our facilities.
