SUAC athletes competed across the Sydney Grand Prix and the National Junior Championships over the weekend, tallying an impressive set of results across both competitions.

The Sydney University Women’s Rugby Club are well represented in the inaugural Buildcorp Super W competition. 

Sydney University First Grade skipper Nick Larkin cracked his fifth century of the season in the Students’ qualifying final draw with Sutherland at Sydney University Oval at the weekend.

The University of Sydney will send a record 19 academic athletes to the 2018 Commonwealth Games to be held on Queensland’s Gold Coast, a dynamic mix of club-affiliated, current and former University of Sydney Elite Athlete Program members.

Sydney University Cricket Club will field teams in four of the five grades contesting the Sydney Premier men’s competition qualifying finals this weekend, while Universities have teams in the First and Second grade Premier women’s competition semi-finals.

Sydney Uni Staminade dominated at the weekend’s NSW Criterium Championships held in Lansdowne Park in Sydney’s Western Suburns with Georgia Whitehouse and Gina Ricardo taking out first and second place ,respectively.

Katie-Rae Ebzery and Belinda Snell have been selected in the Australian Opals team to compete at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast starting April 4th.

Sydney University wicketkeeper Tim Cummins cracked an unbeaten 121 off 100 balls to help the Students to a tense five-run win over Parramatta in the final of the 2017-18 Sydney Grade cricket Limited Overs final at Old Kings Oval on Sunday.
