Sydney Uni Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder and multi-class Sydney Uni Swim Club (SUSC) member Sarah Hilt has been chosen as a NSW finalist for this year’s Pride of Australian Medal in the ‘Courage’ category.

Five Sydney University Football Club (SUFC) teams will take to the field this weekend in the Sydney Rugby Union 2012 Finals Series.

With the final round of the Sydney Water Polo Winter Competition still to be played on Wednesday night, five of Sydney Uni Men’s Water Polo Club’s seven teams are currently sitting in the Minor Premier position.

Sydney University Football Club is once again in contention to win all seven titles in the Sydney Grade competition after finishing third in Shute Shield and minor premiers in Second, Third and Fourth grades and the three Colts grades. SydneyUniversity’s women’s team have also won the minor premiership in their march towards back-to-back titles.

The Southern Design Sydney Uni Flames fought extremely hard during their 70-59 loss to US NCAA Division 1 college team Oklahoma University at the Sydney Uni Sports & Aquatic Centre (SUSAC) on Friday night.

Sydney Uni Flames Academy Program representative Vanessa Panousis will tonight play for the Under 17 Australian women’s basketball team, in Holland, at the 2012 U17 Women’s World Championships.
