Promising Sydney University Program Age Group Gold Squad representative Francesca Fitzhenry will make her major meet debut this Thursday at the 2013 Georgina Hope Swimmers Foundation Australian Age Championships, held at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Adelaide.

Sydney University Athletics Club’s (SUAC) stars aligned on Saturday night at the Melbourne Track Classic held at Albert Park in Melbourne, with four standout performers stealing the show by posting personal bests, World University Games qualifiers and or club records.

The Sydney Uni Taekwondo Club (SUTC) has dominated the Taekwondo NSW State Championships (TKDNSW) held on Sunday at Sydney Olympic Park, with Sydney University representatives securing seven first place finishes and a host of other competitors achieving personal best results whilst representing the club with pride and passion.

Sydney University opened the 2013 Sydney Premier rugby season with a clean sweep of Parramatta in the four grade and three Colts matches, highlighted by a 44-21 disposal of the Two Blues in the First Grade encounter at Merrylands RSL Rugby Park.

Former SUSF Elite Athlete Program (EAP) scholarship holder Murray Stewart continued in his winning ways at the 2013 Australian Canoe Sprint Championships in Perth, as he qualified for the Australian World Cup team after a series of strong performances over the weekend.
