Brydens Sydney Uni Flames will travel to South Australia this weekend for two preseason matches against the MAC Adelaide Lighting.
The Flames will be looking to showcase their impressive 2018-19 roster, giving new recruits Amanda ‘AJ’ Johnson, Britt Smart and former Lightning star, Vanessa Panousis, the opportunity to gain some floor-time together as Flames.
The preseason hit-outs will also see Flames favourites Tahlia Tupaea, Alex Wilson, captain, Belinda Snell and Shanae Greaves return for Sydney.
Similarly, Adelaide will be keen to flaunt their heavily-stacked side which features Nicole Seekamp, Stephanie Blicavs and former Flame, Lauren Nicholson.
The first clash will be played in Port Adelaide on Friday 21 September, followed by a game in Waikerie on the Saturday.
The Flames are looking forward to the preparation less than a month to go until the beginning of Chemist Warehouse WNBL for 2018-19.
