After winning the Club Championship in record time, Sydney University Soccer Football Club (SUSFC) have claimed the premiership in First and Reserve Grade with one round remaining of the NPL NSW Women’s Competition.
Taking their second premiership in three years, First Grade’s premiership came off the back of a 1-1 draw against the Mariners, where a late goal from Cortnee Vine secured the Students the title.
Reserve Grade also drew against the Mariners, 2-2 (J. Cirignano & L. Johnson), to claim the premiership.
With finals commencing the week after next, the two top-of-the-table teams will play their final round game against Manly United at Cromer Park.
