Sydney Uni Lawn Tennis Club (SULTC) hosted the 2016 Australian Money Tournament, achieving great results on their home grass courts, March 4-7.
The Open was well populated with members of SULTC keen to showcase their tennis on home grounds, including scholarship holder Martina Hudaly who finished runner-up in the in the Women’s Singles to a tight score of 6-3, 5-7, 6-2.
Hudaly also partnered with fellow scholarship holder Rebecca Jones in the doubles, with the pair making the semi-finals.
There are so few grass tennis courts in Sydney that a large scale competition like this one brings many players from the surrounding areas to compete.
